What to Expect from Your First Emface Treatment

Emface is an FDA-approved procedure that revolutionizes non-invasive facial treatments in that it simultaneously lifts and tones facial muscles and reduces fine lines and wrinkles, giving you a smoother, younger-looking skin and a natural-looking lift at the same time. You could say that in the world of non-invasive cosmetic treatments for the face, it’s a total game changer.

Emface in a nutshell

Emface utilizes two advanced technologies, RF and HIFES, to deliver stunning results. RF or radiofrequency energy delivers heat to the outer layers of the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production, which are two naturally occurring proteins in the body primarily responsible for keeping the skin healthy and supple. Over time, collagen and elastin levels decrease, which is part of the natural aging process. Stimulating production of these two proteins results in younger, fresher-looking, and practically flawless skin.

HIFES or high intensity focused electromagnetic stimulation, on the other hand, reaches the deeper layers of the skin, targeting facial tissues and muscles that were once only accessible through a surgical face lift. HIFES causes these targets muscles to contract, which results in a lifted and toned appearance once treatment sessions are completed and optimal results are achieved.

Your first Emface treatment

Your initial Emface treatment begins with a one-on-one consultation with your doctor. It’s important to discuss the procedure in detail, asking questions and learning everything a patient should know about it before proceeding with your first session.

For a first Emface treatment, doctors usually recommend four sessions, spaced at one or two-week intervals. To achieve your desired results, you have to fully commit to the treatment, otherwise, you would have wasted your time, and more importantly, the opportunity to discover for yourself the amazing results everyone’s been raving about.

Emface applicators will be placed on your forehead and cheeks, and once the session begins, you may feel a bit of “tightening” sensation like your muscles are being pulled in different directions, which may cause involuntary twitching. Patients report experiencing this as their muscles contract. Your face may also feel warm from the RF heat. These effects will resolve once your session is over.

After your last Emface session, you should begin to see results within four weeks. Optimal results are usually achieved six weeks after your last session. But this depends on your skin’s reaction to the treatment. Other patients begin to notice results after three weeks, while others take longer.
