What You Need to Know for a Follow-up SculpSure Treatment

If you’re reading this, then you’ve probably already gone through your first SculpSure procedure, and you already know all the benefits. So, the question is, what do you need to know going into your second one?

Having a second treatment is completely safe. A period of 12 weeks is recommended between procedures to ensure that you get the optimum results since your body may still be ridding itself of dead fat cells for several weeks after the original procedure.

The second time around, we can safely assume that you’ll be targeting even more stubborn fats. Since you know what you’re in for, some experts will recommend targeting more than one area this time, such as the thighs and the flanks, in successive procedures.

Sometimes, it’s easier to remember the results of a procedure than the endeavor itself. Remember that a bit of discomfort is normal from the intermittent cooling and heating cycles. If it gets to be too much, remember to call the clinician using the transmittal button.

Just as with the first time, there’s really no downtime. You’ll be able to go about your day without really any special considerations. You may feel a little sore the next day as if you’re retaining water, but gentle massages to the affected areas can help over the next few weeks. If you’ve decided to target more than one area this time, then be ready for twice the amount of discomfort.

Rest-assured that SculpSure is an FDA-approved procedure and there are very few reported serious side-effects. If you came out of the procedure fine before, then you’re even more likely to be able to do it again.
