Maintain Your SculpSure Results by Making These Lifestyle Changes

What Sculpsure does and doesn’t do

SculpSure is an FDA-approved nonsurgical procedure that uses a laser device to heat and eliminate subdermal fat cells. On average, it produces a 24% reduction in fat volume in the target area. Best of all, the treatment permanently removes fat cells, so those ugly lumps are gone for good.

What SculpSure doesn’t do is keep the untreated areas fat-free. People who gain weight after the treatment tend to accumulate more fat in areas that were not treated with the device.

To maintain your new figure, you have to live healthily. This means two things: a proper diet and regular exercise.

Healthy diet

To the American Health Association, a healthy diet is one consisting of the following:

  • a diverse assortment of fruits and vegetables
  • legumes and nuts
  • whole grains
  • skinless fish and poultry
  • low-fat dairy products
  • non-tropical vegetable oils

Generally speaking, adults should consume a variety of nutritious, low-calorie food from every food group, while limiting red meat, sodium, trans fat, saturated fat, sweets, processed food, and beverages high in sugar.

Exercise

According to the CDC, adults should be more physically active than sedentary. It’s also better to have some physical activity than none at all.

As such, adults should do exercises that strengthen all major muscle groups on at least two days of every week.

Every week should see should adults doing any of the following:

  • 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise (such as brisk walking)
  • 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic exercise (such as jogging or running)
  • An equal combination of moderate-intensity and vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise on at least 2 days
